We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Lead to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This role is specifically for 10 hours a week, making it perfect for someone looking to contribute in a flexible, yet impactful way. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned tele-sales professional with a proven track record of success in the pet industry and must be a native-level English speaker based in North or South America.

Our research and engagement with the community let us constantly iterate and improve the FluentPet HexTile System. This allows us to continually expand what is possible when communicating with other species.

Job Overview: The Sales Lead will play a key role in generating and closing sales within the pet store market, working part-time (10 hours per week). This individual will proactively identify new business opportunities, build customer relationships, and help drive sales growth, all while working within a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy for retailers and distributors
  • Generate and qualify leads through targeted tele-sales activities
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pet store owners and managers
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently within the allocated hours
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Accurately forecast sales and track key metrics in a time-conscious manner
  • Provide concise reports on sales activities and pipeline
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in tele-sales
  • Proven success in sales, especially within the pet store industry
  • Native-level English proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Results-driven and able to maximize limited work hours
  • Experience with sales CRM software is a plus
